There'll be no concert venues involved. The festival takes place only in locations you thought were impossible. We've already been on a boat - so what's coming next?
Call them hipsters, emerging talents, cutting-edge sounds... anything but mainstream. Which is exactly why you'll be the first of your friends to see them live.
A single, once-off opportunity to live this experience. If you're not there, you'll miss out!
AMSTERDAM // WESTER GAS FABRIEK
The super catchy British pop quintet launched their début album, which was produced by Alex Kapranos, the lead singer of Franz Ferdinand, in May 2012. The album was warmly welcomed by both audience and critics with music weekly NME announcing: "Get ready to blow your mind, to see your soul devastated and your music collection fall apart" That's right - are you ready?+ INFO
The former coal gas factory was built towards the end of the 19th century but closed in 1967. After 40 years lying dormant it became a new source of energy thanks to numerous creative events held here: Awakenings club nights, the Holland Festival and now the Pepe Jeans Singular Music Festival.

BARCELONA // RAZZMATAZZ 1
A British indie band inspired by Basque culture. What a melting pot! And they're all about fusion - like their progressive dance style mixed with the melodies of Basque folk music, synthesisers, wonk-funk bass, eighties punk rhythms and experimental music. A hypnotic sound experience that will be on tour with their new album Cave Rave in 2013. Fancy coming to the Singular festival to see them?+ INFO

LONDON // OVAL SPACE
Having toured the world in support of 'Native To', careering their way around Europe, losing sleep in America, getting lost in Russia and evading the law in Shanghai, Is Tropical had racked up enough hedonistic experiences to last a lifetime. Along the way, however, they also learnt some more important musical lessons: namely, that 100mph craziness isn't necessarily all they need to make a record.
Their new album, “I´m leaving” marks itself out as a distinct progression from its predecessor. Whereas their debut's high-BPM party anthems were often bracketed in with the indie/ nu rave crossover, Is Tropical's second defines itself by a much more varied mantra.+ INFO
