Each sneaker is coated with a transparent film of titanium dioxide (TiO2), which works together with the UVA rays in sunlight to eliminate up to 80% of the nitrogen oxides (NOx) that come into contact with it.

In collaboration with Pepe Jeans, up-and-coming Spanish artist Laura Maldonado has created five unique sculptures for the campaign. Each piece interprets the chemical process that takes place on the surface of the shoes to create a sense of purity based on light and the natural flow of air.
